How can we help?
Take your first job photo
Open Capture and choose General. Enter a project name if you want it on the stamp. Add a note, then tap Take timestamped photo and allow camera access when prompted.
Tap Gallery to see the saved photo with its date and time.
Scan a digital caliper display
In General, tap Scan caliper display → Photograph display. Fill the centre of the frame with the digits, decimal point and unit. Compare the suggested reading with the instrument and correct it if needed.
Choose mm or inches, then tap Confirm and save reading + photo. If the digits are unclear, retake the photo or enter the value manually.
Save readings against a tower position
Choose Tower and enter the project, scope of work, tower number and circuit. Select the side and position, then tap Open caliper record / scan display.
Set the instrument to millimetres. Tap the scan icon beside the correct steel or aluminium pair. Confirming a scan saves that reading and its photo immediately. Tap Save for readings you typed.
Add a project logo or location stamp
Enter a project name, then open Project watermark → Choose logo from Files. Pick a PNG or JPEG. A transparent PNG lets the photo show through around the logo. The logo appears on new photos for that project.
To add coordinates, turn on Stamp GPS and place before capture and allow location access. JobStamp adds an address when one is available. Turn the switch off before taking a photo if you want to omit its location.
Find, share or keep a copy of a photo
Open Gallery and search for the project, tower, a word from your note or a date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Use the General or Tower filter to narrow the results.
Open the photo and tap Share stamped photo to export a JPEG. Photos and editable readings are stored in JobStamp on this iPhone. Share any photos you need to keep before deleting the app. A shared JPEG contains the stamp, while the editable record stays in JobStamp.
Fix camera or location access
On iPhone, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and enable JobStamp. For a location stamp, open Privacy & Security → Location Services → JobStamp and choose While Using the App.
Return to JobStamp and take a new photo. Location and watermark settings apply when a photo is captured.
